We march against the occupiers and their hypocritical supporters
ISRAEL WILL SURELY BE STOPPED
One year has passed since Israel took its decades-long occupation and genocide policies in the Palestinian territories to a new phase. During this one year, tens of thousands of children, the elderly, the young, men and women have faced the brutality of Israel. Now Israel has taken its aggression to a new level and is threatening Lebanon, Syria and Iran. It is bombing civilian settlements, hospitals and schools in several countries right next to us, assassinating leaders of the resistance and uttering new threats every day. On the other hand, it continues its land invasion attempts in Lebanese territory.
Despite all its gains in this process, Israel has not been able to achieve its goals. The attempt to invade Lebanon, which is very recent, cannot advance despite the heavy wounds suffered by the resistance front. Israel is not invincible as the image that many media organisations in our country and in the world are trying to create… The outcome of this war has not yet been determined.
The AKP government is displaying unprecedented hypocrisy. On the one hand, while statements of support for Palestine and condemnations against Israel are being made; on the other hand, oil from Azerbaijan is being sent to Israel by tanker after tanker from Adana ports. With this fuel, planes take off and land from Israeli bases; Israel’s war is being revived. The government-affiliated defence institutions, which are marketed as domestic-national, continue to cooperate with Israel. And the government continues to do all this while stating that Israel’s next target is Anatolia.
However, what is more dangerous than the Israel beyond our borders is the Israel inside. Those who are directly or indirectly part of the occupation and genocide against poor peoples are the greatest enemies of our country.
The Communist Party of Turkey supports the resistance of the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples against Israel, as it has expressed since the day the conflict heated up. This front will strengthen and the state of Israel, which is nothing but occupation, genocide and destruction in our region, will lose. In order to increase this will, we call on all our people to stand up on the evening of Wednesday, 9th October. Let us come side by side in the marches we will organise in İstanbul, Ankara and İzmir.
