We Will Revive the World Peace Day
In 2024, World Peace Day, unfortunately, marks a time when we feel the heavy weight of ongoing wars surrounding us, and the shadow of potential larger conflicts hanging over us.
Gaza is burning. To monopolize power in the Middle East, US imperialism, through Israel, is dragging the region to the brink of war without regard for any law. Since October 7, tens of thousands of Palestinians have fallen victims to imperialism, and the massacre continues…
Beyond Gaza, international forces of the bourgeoisie are constantly increasing tensions through NATO and seeking ways to maximize their profits in many other regions. For none of the imperialists, the resources they exploit mercilessly are enough and they all covet what others exploit. That’s why they never care about the deaths of 40,000 Palestinians and they are ready to cause millions more death. It is all about the future of the bourgeoisie’s wealth in this capitalist system, where they feed on the blood.
Today, all imperialists must lie to get others to fight on their behalf. Telling these lies, they undoubtedly take advantage of the fact that the common values of humanity are unprotected today. These are the values that gave rise to World Peace Day and belong to the working class that emerged victorious in the world’s greatest war…
As the working class has not been able to exert its authority politically and ideologically in the international arena, there is no obstacle to imperialism being unbridled, aggressive, and cruel.
It is the task of communists to defend the peace and security of the people and the ideal of living together in brotherhood, and to build a system where no worker loses their life for the imperialists’ greed for profit.
If the working class does not demonstrate its strength, imperialist lies will not be debunked. The wars between major exploiters will continue to be turned into proxy wars under various guises, and the world will face the risk of being dragged into a war uncontrollably. The children of the working class will fight and die for the interests of capitalists. Yet, the battle we must fight is a different one.
With the occasion of World Peace Day, let us recall the final battle that the working class of the world must wage, the most just cause. Let us remember that all oppressed people of the world, especially those who have faced the wrath of imperialism, must take the reins and fight for themselves against the exploiters…
We must fight not as proxies for the bourgeoisie but for ourselves, in the ranks of our own class, and we must recreate World Peace Day. We will stop NATO aggression, and we will not allow imperialist war. We will definitely defeat US imperialism. For if we do not, each year, World Peace Day will mark a time when we are on the brink of greater catastrophes.
